Finding Ground: My Journey With Intensity and Balance

Published: Sun Jul 05 2026

There was a time in my life when I was completely absorbed in practice.

Hours every day in meditation, ritual work, inner exploration. The states were real profound peace, extraordinary experiences, genuine touch of something vast and divine.

But slowly, I noticed something. While my inner world was expanding, my outer world was becoming unclear. Money wasn't flowing. Relationships were distant. My body felt weak. Decisions became difficult.

I was reaching so far into the inner realms that I was losing touch with the ground beneath my feet.

The Inner Work Without the Foundation

What I was doing was real practice. But it was incomplete.

I was constantly stimulating the higher centers the heart, the intuition, the vision, the crown. Every practice was taking me further inward and upward.

But I wasn't strengthening the foundation. The root. The basic stability that holds everything together.

It's like trying to build a house from the roof down. It doesn't work.

What Changed

I realized something: authentic practice isn't about escaping the world. It's about becoming more present in it.

So I shifted. Not away from the inner work ,I still do it. But I added what was missing.

I grounded myself. Literally. Work with the earth. Physical practice. Real food. Presence with my body.

I engaged fully with life. With my business, my responsibilities, my relationships. Not as distractions from the path, but AS the path.

And something remarkable happened. My practice deepened. Not because I was doing more meditation, but because I was doing it from a foundation. From roots.

What Grounding Actually Looks Like

For me, it meant:

Physical presence. Work with my hands. Time on the earth. Feeling my body. Building strength, not weakness.

Real engagement. Running a healing business, managing money, making practical decisions, showing up for people. This became my practice ,learning to be fully present and powerful in the world.

Proper nourishment. Real food. Enough sleep. Taking care of the body, not treating it as an obstacle to transcend.

Balance in practice. Yes, I do rituals. Yes, I work with subtle energy. But from a grounded place. Not as escape. As deepening.

Presence with the moment. Not always reaching for the next state, the next experience. But being fully here, in what's actually happening.

The Real Transformation

When I made this shift, everything changed.

My clarity increased. My power increased. My ability to help others increased. My life worked better.

And paradoxically, my spiritual experiences became more meaningful because they were rooted in a stable, grounded life.

This is what I've learned: The inner and outer worlds are not opposites. They're partners.

Real spirituality isn't about transcending the world. It's about being fully alive in it while touching something deeper.

For Those Walking a Similar Path

If you're doing intense spiritual practice and noticing that your life is becoming unclear, your energy is depleted, your relationships are distant something needs to shift.

Not away from practice. But toward balance.

Ask yourself:

Am I grounded in my body? Am I present with my life responsibilities? Am I eating well and sleeping well? Am I engaging fully with the world or am I withdrawing?

Am I doing practices that help me be MORE present and powerful in life, or practices that are taking me away from life?

There's a difference. And it matters.

What I Do Now

I still practice. Deeply. But it looks different than it did.

I meditate, but from a grounded place. I work with people and energy, but balanced with physical practice and engagement. I explore the subtle realms, but always with my feet on the earth.

And my life reflects it. My business is strong. My relationships are real. My body is healthy and vital. My clarity is clear.

This is what balanced practice looks like.

Not choosing between the inner world and the outer world. But mastering both.

The Invitation

If you're walking a spiritual path, I invite you to ask: Am I balanced?

Are my practices making me stronger or weaker? More present or more withdrawn? More capable in life or less?

The answer matters. Because real transformation isn't about escaping into higher states.

It's about bringing the light of those states into your actual life and becoming more powerful here.

That's the path I'm walking now.

And it's the invitation I offer.
